Introducing Halloween Candy Dessert Pancakes — a fun, festive way to use leftover Halloween candy. These pancakes turn candy-studded batter into a sweet brunch or dessert the whole family will love.

We celebrated a snow day with a pajama lunch and a few spooky surprises. With extra time at home, I created a Halloween-themed meal that was playful and memorable for the kids.

First course was a playful take on pizza: thin rectangular strips shaped like bones. My daughters enjoyed pretending they were eating different bones — a silly, Halloween-friendly lunch conversation, especially with a doctor for a dad.

But the highlight was dessert: pancakes packed with chopped candy, finished with a candy-inspired ganache and a colorful sprinkle of Nerds. Candy as a pancake mix-in makes for a decadent treat and a clever way to use those extra fun-size bars.

Pancakes studded with Nestle Crunch pieces, drizzled with a Butterfinger ganache syrup, and topped with Nerds make a whimsical, colorful plate that kids adore.
