Ingredients
  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1/4 cup finely diced onion
  • 1 roma tomato, diced
  • 1/4 tsp salt, or to taste
  • 1 1/2 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/2 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp fresh lime juice
Instructions
  1. Slice avocados in half, remove the pits and scoop the flesh into a bowl. Mash with a fork to your preferred texture—smooth or slightly chunky.
  2. Fold in the diced onion, tomato, chopped cilantro and minced garlic until evenly combined.
  3. Season with salt and stir in the lime juice. Taste and adjust salt or lime as needed.
  4. If not serving immediately, press a piece of plastic wrap directly onto the surface or place an avocado pit in the center to help slow browning. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
