Welcome if you’re new here. About two months ago my boyfriend and I moved to Sydney, Australia. If you want the full story of our move, see the post on my blog where I explain how we left Paris and started this new chapter. We lived in Paris for several years and I’ll always love the city, but everyday life there was often less comfortable: unpredictable weather, crowded public transport, expensive living costs, and a general sense of rush that made daily life more difficult. So far, Sydney feels more relaxed. People here seem to enjoy life and the weather is usually sunny. The cost of living is high, but wages tend to be higher too, which balances things out. After two months, those are my first impressions — pleasant, lively, and definitely worth experiencing for a year, even if I’m not sure yet about a permanent move.
Below are a few photos of the city. If you’d like more images, check the album on my Facebook page.
