Diagon Alley — Universal Studios Florida

Diagon Alley is filled with film-accurate details and interactive moments. In Mr. Mulpepper’s Apothecary window you’ll find a display that nods to the retired Jaws attraction that previously occupied this area.

While shopping, ask store staff to send purchases to the park entrance for pickup at the end of the day so you don’t have to carry bags while exploring.

London side

Try the red phone booth—dial M-A-G-I-C (962442) to connect to the Ministry of Magic. Spot Kreacher at 12 Grimmauld Place peeking from an upstairs window. The talking shrunken head on the Knight Bus is interactive and fun for kids.

Inside Diagon Alley

The dragon perched atop Gringotts rumbles and occasionally breathes fire about every 15 minutes—have your camera ready. Quality Quidditch Supplies houses props used in the films, and the soundtrack in Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes matches the movie score.

The Leaky Cauldron’s walls display numerous art pieces replicated from the films, and some luggage around the tavern came straight from the movie sets. The Magical Menagerie has a talking snake display that “speaks” in Parseltongue and English. Madame Malkin’s mirror offers playful commentary at times, and Borgin and Burkes hides curiosities such as a Vanishing Cabinet with subtle sound effects.

In the bookstore, the Monster Book of Monsters will growl if you get too close. In Knockturn Alley, shine a light under a specific blacklight and your interactive wand map will reveal hidden spell shapes written in invisible ink.
